Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Associate Brand Manager is at the core of the Bonobos business and our reinvention of how customers engage with the brand and shop. This role will be responsible for implementing and supporting strategies that enhance our brand presence and drive growth in our business, with focuses on, but not limited to, our retail stores, wholesale marketing, tailored categories, golf categories and brand partnerships. You will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that align with Bonobos' brand vision and values, ensuring a consistent and engaging customer experience across all touchpoints. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate the Bonobos brand in the retail space by crafting and executing impactful initiatives that not only attract customers but keep them coming back for more.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Brand Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Manage the marketing calendar on a day-to-day basis to ensure key dates and messaging direction is up-to-date and teams are informed.
  • Provide monthly messaging and product focus direction to our PR team and communicate any changes or updates throughout the month based on strategy direction.
  • Assist the brand team with brand partnership initiatives. 
  • Stay up to date on the latest market trends, consumer insights and competitor activities within the fashion and apparel industry – leveraging insights to identify new opportunities and recommend strategies to maintain Bonobos' competitive edge.
  • Support wholesale by ensuring external decks are onbrand and inclusive of up-to-date brand information.

Retail Marketing

  • Assist in developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies and positioning within the retail channel that aligns with Bonobos' overall brand values and business goals.
  • Work with the Brand Manager to manage the allocated budget for retail brand activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal resource allocation.
  • Drive the development of creative assets, campaign materials and marketing collateral to deliver impactful and engaging retail brand experiences.
  • Act as the brand guardian to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines within the retail channel.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, CRM, Creative and Product teams to conceptualize and execute retail campaigns that align to the brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Retail team on initiatives to drive traffic to stores, and improve the customer experience in the Guideshops, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping journey.
  • Ideate strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty through events, promotions and partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of retail marketing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and taking appropriate action.

Tailored & Golf Strategy

  • Assist in developing and executing brand strategies for our golf and tailored business that aligns with Bonobos' brand and category goals.
  • Stay up to date on competitor activities and latest trends in the tailored, wedding and golf space – leveraging insights to identify new opportunities and recommend strategies to maintain Bonobos' competitive edge.
  • Act as the brand guardian to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in golf and tailored marketing assets.
  • Work with Marketing, CRM, Creative and Product teams to communicate seasonal marketing updates for the golf and tailored categories.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience in brand marketing/ management within retail for a D2C fashion or CPG organization
  • Knowledge of the golf space is a plus 
  • General awareness of/experience working in the retail landscape is a plus
  • General awareness of/experience working on brand partnerships is a plus
  • Motivated by curiosity, whether solving a problem, pursuing a new experience, or seeking creative inspiration
  • Able to strategize, analyze and execute across a range of initiatives
  • A project management pro and feels comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive attitude and proven experience collaboratively with internal and external team members to achieve deliverables

Part-time associates may also be eligible to participate in the Bonobos Guideshop Incentive Plan.

 

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.

Pay Range

$70,200 - $99,700
